Vintage MCM Orange and Brown Lacquer Ware Serving Tray / Platter with Hand Painted Sunflowers, Made in 1965 in Japan for Davar Products, Inc.
This fun lacquerware serving platter features vibrant yellow sunflowers on an orange background and brown underlay. There are some surface scratches, as pictured, that do not impair the functionality of the tray. The scratches are taken into consideration with the price. This would be gorgeous as part of your late summer decor as a transition into autumn! It’s perfect for fall decor due to the MCM colorway of orange, brown, green, and yellow. The original maker’s sticker is present on the bottom but is a little worn. The platter measures 12 3/4” in diameter and is a little over 1/2” H. This is an incredibly versatile piece - add to your plate wall, use it as a centerpiece for your fall candles, or as intended, for serving food or snacks!
This listing is for just the serving tray. Any staging materials are not included but may be for sale in my other listings.
