Vintage Faux Wood Patterned Welcome Sign with Strawberries
This lovely hanging plaque features the word Welcome in blue block print atop a faux barn wood backing with nails. There is a central oval of cream encircled by dark brown that contains three red strawberries and green foliage with yellow accents. The piece has a very rustic feel with areas of wear and missing color that seem to be intentional for the desired homemade aesthetic. There are two holes at the top strung with twine, making the piece ready to hang. It measures 8 1/4" W x 7 1/2" H; with the twine, the height would be approximately 10" total. The back of the piece does show some signs of wear, as pictured. I am uncertain of the material, it could be ceramic, plaster, or chalkware.
