Vintage Embroidered Prayer Poem, "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep..."
This lovely vintage embroidery has the children's prayer poem "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep..." with a moon, stars, birds, a bunny, and a sleeping angel surrounding the poem. It has been mounted on cardboard and taped in place, no frame; but it can easily be placed in a frame. There is a small discoloration at the edge of the fabric near the moon, as pictured, otherwise it is in very good vintage condition. As mounted, it measures 11" W x 8 3/4" H but the aida fabric itself is larger than that. This would make an adorable addition to a nursery.
