Vintage Coppercraft Guild Copper and Brass Hanging Cauldron / Plant Pot / Incense Burner / Candle Holder
This incredible little piece from Coppercraft is incredibly versatile. It could be a pot for plants, it could be used to burn incense, it could hold a tealight or small candle, it can be used as a small cauldron or kettle, your imagination is the limit. It measures approximately 7" H x 7" W. There is a small guild medallion on the arched and curved brass support and the copper cauldron has three brass legs as well as brass chain and loop to hang it. The base is copper.
Coppercraft Guild was a very short-lived company, existing for only a few short years in the mid 1970s. Their pieces were made of solid copper with a special coating to prevent tarnishing. As you can see from this piece, the coating has held up well for nearly 50 years. There is some discoloration within the cauldron itself, and some tarnish starting show in some areas, as pictured.
