This pair of framed embroideries came from an estate sale and are estimated to be from the 1920s. The artwork itself is in incredible condition considering the age. Each features a Victorian girl with a lovely and detailed dress, bonnet, and flowers standing on grass with a beige background. There are various shades of blue, pink, red, green, black, gray, and white in the embroidery. The frames measure 6 3/8" W x 7 3/4" H. The frames are quite old and were previously hung by string and tacks, which are still attached. The backing of the one embroidery is missing, showing the tape used to secure the artwork in place, as pictured. The frames are slightly different wood tones, as pictured.
