This is an astonishing piece of work with an incredible amount of detail as described above; the artist's initials, DS, and the year, 1993, are stitched just below the floss. It is professionally framed, mounted, and double matted with a green marbled mat and red accent mat behind glass. The ornate gold frame measures 15 3/4" W x 13" H and is ready to hang. This piece is in excellent vintage condition; I was able to obtain several pieces of this artist's work at an estate sale and her attention to detail is exquisite.
