This gorgeous and delicate embroidered piece features a woman with her back to the viewer as she is seated on a stool, a long braid running down her back, rendered in shades of blue, white, brown, and black; she is sewing or quilting and the blanket covers her lap and cascades behind her. It is professionally framed, mounted, and matted behind glass; the frame is blue metal and quite substantial. It measures 9 1/2" W x 12 1/4" H and is ready to hang. This piece is in excellent vintage condition.
